The Iranian parliament is debating a proposal to divide the Sunni-dominated Sistan and Baluchistan region in the south of the country into 4 regions with different names. Also, issues of relocation of 10 million people and the transfer of the coasts of Sistan and Baluchistan to other provinces are also being considered.
