The borders between Afghanistan and the countries of Central Asia have been washed away by floods and they will be redefined, said the Acting Minister of Energy and Water Resources. Abdul Latif Mansoor referring to possible changes in territorial agreements.

From November 1, 2024, a pilot project on the introduction of an electronic queue management system for cargo transportation at the border customs post "Kizil-Kiya" - "Avtodorojniy" will begin. The project financed by the European Union is implemented with the support of the International Trade Center. The experimental stage will last until December 15 of this year.
