According to a report by the International Campaign to Abolish Nuclear Weapons (ICAN), global nuclear weapons costs will increase by €10 billion in 2023 compared to 2022. In particular, nine nuclear powers spent a total of 85.4 billion euros on their arsenals in 2023. 51.5 billion dollars of this amount corresponds to the contribution of the United States. The second place is occupied by China ($11.8 billion), and the third place by Russia ($8.3 billion).
