Turkey's Ministry of National Defense denied reports that it continued to export gunpowder, explosives, ammunition and weapons to Israel in January, saying only "shotgun spare parts and fishing equipment (harpoons and others)" were sold. "The Ministry of National Defense of Turkey does not conduct any joint activities with Israel, including cooperation in the field of military education, training and defense industry," the statement said.
Belgium has temporarily suspended the licenses granted to the PB Clermont factory, which exports gunpowder to Israel. The reason for this was the decision of the International Court of Justice on January 27 and the unacceptable deterioration of the humanitarian situation in the Gaza Strip.
