An official representative of Hamas said that the negotiations on the cease-fire in Gaza have reached an impasse, despite the fact that the Palestinian group is showing flexibility, and Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu is creating obstacles for the two sides to reach an agreement.

Ukraine has agreed to a 30-day ceasefire with Russia at the request of the United States. The decision, which followed talks in Jeddah, has not yet been formally approved by the Kremlin. Given that Russia currently has the upper hand on the front, it is unlikely that Moscow will agree to a ceasefire. At the same time, the US-Ukraine agreement coincides with the resumption of military aid to Kiev. The Kremlin is expected to set its own conditions for the talks.
