A Muslim community in Calgary, Canada, has begun construction on a major Islamic center and held a "barbecue picnic" to introduce locals to how the center will function in the future. The team bought the plot of land 15 years ago, but faced many difficulties in the design and approval processes. The construction of the center worth 12 million dollars is planned to be completed by 2027.
