Uzbekistan proposes simplifying exam for migrants in Russia
A proposal has been put forward to simplify language and knowledge tests for citizens working in Russia. This was announced by Behzod Musaev, Director of the Migration Agency. (https://t.me/uzmigration/696)
According to him, there are currently about 1.3 million Uzbeks working in Russia. Their number varies depending on the season and the needs of employers.
According to Musaev, issues such as developing the labor market between the two countries, protecting the rights and interests of citizens, and facilitating the process of obtaining work permits were discussed.
The Uzbek side proposed to hold the Russian language exam directly in Uzbekistan, and this proposal was positively received by the Russian side.
"During the exam, there are many redundant and practically unnecessary questions on history or law. We gave these examples, and the leadership of the Russian Human Rights Council also considered our opinion correct," says the agency's director.
