Uzbekistan is among those who "boycott" Netanyahu's speech at the UN

Earlier, we reported that many leaders of countries walked out of the hall en masse after Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu's speech at the UN General Assembly. Among the delegations that did not attend the Prime Minister's speech was Uzbekistan, Ynet reported.

The publication, citing Israeli officials, said that 77 delegations left the hall before the speech began or did not attend at all.

Among them are Egypt, Jordan, Lebanon and Syria, as well as Saudi Arabia, Turkey and Iran. However, representatives of the UAE, along with others, did not rush to leave the hall and listened to Netanyahu's speech. Israeli officials explained this by the fact that both countries have formal diplomatic relations with Tel Aviv.

Many world leaders have welcomed Israel's isolation, and Israeli officials have stressed that it must pay for the killings in Gaza.
