Uzbekistan and UAE sign declaration on establishing strategic partnership

On January 15, a meeting between the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev and the President of the United Arab Emirates Sheikh Mohammed Al Nahyan was held at the Qasr al-Shati residence in Abu Dhabi.

The talks covered important issues aimed at developing bilateral strategic partnership. The presidents discussed initiatives to expand ties in the areas of political, trade and economic, energy, investment, and cultural and humanitarian cooperation.

At the end of the meeting, a Declaration on the Establishment of a Strategic Partnership was signed between the two countries. This document envisages taking cooperation between Uzbekistan and the UAE to a new level.
