Turkish Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan, Interior Minister Ali Erlikaya and MİT head Ibrahim Kalin will visit Uzbekistan. During the visit, it was announced that consultations will be held "in the format of a tripartite meeting".

According to information received from diplomatic sources, during the visit of Turkish Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan, Interior Minister Ali Erlikaya and the head of the National Intelligence Organization (MİT) Ibrahim Kalin to Uzbekistan, consultations will be held for the first time in the "trilateral meeting format".

During the talks, issues of bilateral political and economic relations, as well as security cooperation will be discussed, reports TRT Haber.

Within the framework of the visit, Minister Fidan planned to meet with his Uzbek counterpart Bakhtiyor Saidov.

The meeting will also discuss the decisions made at the third meeting of Turkey-Uzbekistan High Level Strategic Cooperation Council held in Turkey in June.

Also, within the framework of the visit, it is expected to discuss relations in the fields of economy, defense industry, energy, transport, culture, education, illegal migration, fight against terrorism and security.
