Tour operators fined for advertising Umrah tours without a license

The Competition Committee investigated the legality of advertisements on Internet networks and in the media in accordance with the requirements of the Law "On Advertising". As a result of the inspections, it was revealed that 10 tour operators in Andijan, Namangan, Samarkand and Khorezm regions, including "Marmara Travel Namangan", "Sultan Travel 2022", and "Atlas Avia Tour", placed advertisements without a license. Financial penalties were imposed for this.

Officials were also brought to administrative responsibility for violating advertising legislation by tour operators such as Safo Marva, Ziyorotul_Umra, and Fergana Tour 2022 in Namangan and Fergana regions.

The Committee has contacted the Cybersecurity Center of the Ministry of Internal Affairs regarding more than 10 information resources that continue to violate the law. Appropriate measures will be taken.
