Three and a half thousand mothers in Uzbekistan pay alimony to their children


Enforcement documents related to the collection of alimony from 3,500 mothers have been registered in Uzbekistan, Farrukh Toshpulatov, spokesman for the Bureau of Compulsory Enforcement, said.

According to him, in 2018, there were a total of 240,000 enforcement documents on alimony and material support claims, while in 2025 this figure will be 348,000, indicating a 45% increase in pending alimony documents over the past 7 years.

Today, the bureau's bodies have more than 348,000 enforcement documents related to the collection of alimony and material support, and each state enforcement officer receives an average of 147 enforcement documents of this category per month. Of these, 3,500 enforcement documents related to the collection of alimony from mothers were recorded.

According to the MIB, the highest rate of alimony payments by women is in Samarkand region, followed by Fergana, Surkhandarya, and Andijan regions.
