The team of the Ministry of Defense of Uzbekistan won the first place in its group and the second place overall at the Cambria Patrol international competition held in Great Britain . The Uzbek military successfully crossed a distance of more than 70 kilometers, overcoming natural and tactical obstacles, under conditions of chemical and biological threats .

On October 4-7, the team of the Ministry of Defense of Uzbekistan took part in the international military competition "Cambria Patrol" held in Wales (Great Britain), "Dunyo" news agency reports.

It is noted that more than 100 teams from more than 30 countries, including Great Britain, USA, France, India, Germany, Latvia, Kazakhstan, Turkmenistan, Italy and other countries participated in the competition.

Each team covered more than 70 kilometers and overcame the most difficult natural and tactical obstacles. At different points of the route every 8-10 kilometers, the participants performed combat tasks such as maneuvering in chemical and biological threat conditions, offensive operations, and finding direction in difficult terrain.

The team of the Ministry of Defense of Uzbekistan won the first place among 13 teams in its group. They successfully passed through the affected areas at all stages, showing their skill in tactical operations and completing the route in the first place.

According to the overall results, the Uzbek team won the silver medal.

"British military experts highly assessed the level of training of Uzbek military personnel and recognized their professionalism and excellent skills in performing combat tasks," the report said.

For reference, the Cambria Patrol has been held regularly for 60 years, a competition that tests military units from around the world on their combat skills and endurance in real combat conditions. Participating units will cover a distance of 70 km in less than 48 hours and perform numerous military maneuvers and patrol tasks. The training takes place in difficult terrain such as the mountains and moors of central Wales.

The team of the Ministry of Defense of Uzbekistan successfully participated in the "Cambria Patrol" in previous years. In 2019, the team won this competition, and in 2020, 2021 and 2022, they took second place.
