The USA sent more than 10,000 tons of weapons to the Israeli army
TRT Haber reports that the US has sent more than 10,000 tons of weapons to the Israeli army through 200 cargo planes since October 7 , when it started the war of aggression in the Gaza Strip .
In a written statement of the Ministry of Defense of Israel, the 200th cargo plane loaded with weapons for the Israeli army from the USA has arrived in the country.
In the statement, it was noted that the shipments carried out by the efforts of the US supply mission under the Ministry of Defense of Israel were of "great importance".
In this context , the statement stated that "more than 10,000 tons of military equipment have been sent to the Israeli army since the beginning of the war in Gaza on October 7 , until today. " .
Earlier, it was reported that the USA delivered about 15,000 bombs and 57,000 artillery shells to Israel. Among them are about one-ton bombs designed to destroy huge bunkers.
Let's recall that in early December, US President Joe Biden asked Congress for 14.3 billion dollars to strengthen Israel's defense. 4 billion dollars of this aid will be directed to increase the anti-missile defense capability, and 1.2 billion dollars will be directed to the development of the "Iron Shield" air defense system.
