According to a study by data firm Parrot Analytics, global demand for Turkish TV series will increase by 184 percent between 2020 and 2023. The demand for Korean dramas was announced as 73 percent.
In 2023, Spain, Saudi Arabia and Egypt were the three largest importers of new Turkish TV series.
The Istanbul Chamber of Commerce reported that Turkey's TV exports will reach $600 million in 2022. Some analysts predict that their sales will soon reach billions of dollars.
