The Minister of Foreign Affairs of Uzbekistan, Bakhtiyor Saidov, received the new head of the diplomatic mission of Afghanistan in Uzbekistan, Abdul Ghaffar Teravi. "The parties emphasized the need to comprehensively develop relations between Uzbekistan and Afghanistan, to realize unused potential, to develop new projects that serve the interests of the peoples of the two countries," the report said.
Abdul Ghaffar Teravi expressed gratitude on behalf of Afghanistan for the continuous support provided by Uzbekistan.
"The shared history and interests of prosperity between our countries serve as an impetus for the development of our cooperation in all spheres. "During our meeting today, we discussed current issues of bilateral, regional and global agenda," said Bakhtiyor Saidov on the Telegram channel.
At the end of August, Taliban announced the appointment of Abdul Ghaffar Teravi as Afghanistan's ambassador to Uzbekistan.
