Tajikistan responded to Turkey's decision to introduce a visa regime. According to it, citizens of Turkey will be required to obtain a visa to come to Tajikistan from April 20.

Dushanbe chose to switch to the visa regime with Turkey from April 20. On this day, the Turkish side decided to cancel the visa-free regime with Tajikistan.
Thus, to visit Tajikistan and Turkey, citizens of these countries will have to apply to the relevant diplomatic mission to obtain a visa from next Monday.
The visa-free regime between Tajikistan and Turkey has been in effect for four years. Citizens of both countries could stay in a foreign country without a visa for 90 days.
Ankara announced its decision to restore the visa regime with Tajikistan after the terrorist attack at the Crocus City Hall concert hall near Moscow. According to the investigation, the perpetrators of the attack were citizens of Tajikistan.
