Security measures have been strengthened at Turkish airports

After the attack in Ankara, all airports in Turkey were on orange alert and security measures were increased. The Consulate General of Uzbekistan in Istanbul called on the citizens of the country to observe the precautionary and safety measures introduced in Turkey.

After the vandalism at the facilities of the Turkish Aviation and Space Industry (TUSAŞ) in Ankara, precautions and security measures have been increased nationwide. In particular, an orange warning has been announced at all airports, assuming the possibility of a terrorist attack.

Uzbeks were asked to be more vigilant in public places, especially airports, railway stations, bus stations, ship stations, metro and other public transport.

Those leaving Turkey were advised to arrive at airports at least one hour before check-in. Any suspicious items or persons should be reported to the nearest police or security department.
