Saudi mother of 19 prepares to defend her doctoral thesis

Saudi Arabia's mother of many children, Hamda al-Ruwaili, is raising 19 children while simultaneously working on her PhD. Her success and secrets to finding balance have captured the public's attention.

Hamda, 43, gave an interview to Al Ekhbariya TV about how she manages to balance her studies and work while raising 10 boys and 9 girls. She said that she spends her days working and spending time with her children, while studying at night.

"I don't like chaos, I live my life by planning my days," says al-Ruwaili. He noted that he learned patience and strength in raising children from teachers and army commanders. In his opinion, there is no difference between raising one child and raising ten, because the approach to each child requires responsibility.

All of Hamda al-Ruwaili's children are excellent students. One of her daughters is supported in her studies at the King Abdulaziz Center for Gifted Children.

Important planning and family support
She notes that balancing having a large family, studying, and personal development is not easy, but with planning and support, it can be achieved. "I thank God for not giving up on my academic dream. This success has not been easy, but with hard work and discipline, anything is possible," says Hamda al-Ruwaili.

His experience is an inspiration to others, showing how important discipline and responsibility are to achieving success.
