Russian military to hold military exercises in Termez



Russian military personnel arrived in Uzbekistan to participate in the "Partnership-2025" training exercises.

According to the Russian Ministry of Defense, the exercises will take place from July 15 to 21 at the Termez training ground.

Military units practice the following combat operations:

- identifying and eliminating illegal armed formations (IAF) and managing units in the event of their entry into border areas;
- To manage the command to eliminate NQT groups in the event that they occupy structures and positions near the border;
- the recapture of enemy-occupied structures and positions by units;
- fighting against small groups of the enemy;
- as well as organizing an operation to storm and clear a settlement occupied by militants.

The bulk of the Russian military contingent is made up of units from the 201st Military Base of the Central Military District. The 201st Military Base, located in Tajikistan, is Russia's largest military facility outside its own territory.
