From October 17, 2024, temporary restrictions have been imposed on the import of wheat, lentils, tomatoes, peppers and sugarcane products from Kazakhstan to Russia. The relevant decision of Rosselkhoznadzor was published on the website of the organization.

It is noted that this decision was taken due to the fact that the competent authorities of Kazakhstan did not take measures to ensure the phytosanitary safety of the territory of Russia.
