Ramadan Eid greetings to the people of Uzbekistan
Ramadan Eid greetings to the people of Uzbekistan
Dear compatriots!
First of all, I would like to sincerely congratulate you, our dear people, on the great holiday - the blessed Eid al-Fitr, and express my high respect and best wishes to all of you.
In these blessed moments, we express our immense gratitude to the Creator for spending this year's Ramadan with dignity and celebrating Eid al-Fitr with such joy and happiness together with our people and country.
Of course, we would be stating the same truth if we said that the month of Ramadan has made it even more clear how harmonious and in harmony the noble values of the holy religion of Islam, which embody the idea of humanity at its core, are with the reforms being implemented in New Uzbekistan today.
Speaking about this, it should be noted, first of all, that all conditions have been created for this month, which celebrates the virtues of spiritual purification, patience, gratitude, and generosity, to be held at a high level in accordance with our national traditions and values, and for the Muslims of our country to freely perform their acts of worship.
In particular, the fact that this blessed month was held under the theme "Ramadan is the month of generosity, solidarity, and tolerance" has served to further strengthen the atmosphere of peace, friendship, kindness, and generosity in our society.
For this purpose, it is necessary to note that many charitable events have been held to provide information about the situation of low-income families in need of assistance, the elderly, the disabled, and lonely people, to ease the burden of the poor, to improve homes and neighborhoods, to plant trees with the participation of representatives of three generations, and to build new gardens and parks. In particular, iftar ceremonies that brought together representatives of the multinational, multi-confessional community of our country throughout our republic once again clearly demonstrated that our strength lies in unity and solidarity.
I believe that such ceremonies, which have become a good tradition in recent years, are of incomparable importance in glorifying human dignity and uniting our hardworking and noble people as a single, harmonious family, and we will certainly continue these activities in the future.
Dear friends!
As you all know, Islam is, first and foremost, a teaching that glorifies humanity, science, knowledge, and enlightenment, as well as noble virtues.
In this regard, in recent years, great attention has been paid to the collection, study, and wide dissemination of the rich scientific and spiritual heritage created on the basis of Islamic civilization and culture in our country. For this purpose, new scientific and educational centers, religious educational institutions, and holy shrines have been established in our country and are operating effectively.
Without a doubt, all of this is evidence that religious and educational life, along with all other spheres and sectors, is continuously developing in our beautiful land. I would like to emphasize that the faithful Muslims of our country, our entire people, have made a worthy contribution to these efforts, and I express my sincere gratitude to all of you for this.
On this auspicious day, we sincerely congratulate our compatriots living abroad with a sense of loyalty to their homeland on the occasion of Ramadan Eid and express our best wishes to them.
On this auspicious day, we warmly congratulate the Muslim community in countries far and near around the world and send our greetings of friendship to their peoples and countries.
Dear and respected compatriots!
I would like to congratulate you, dear ones, once again with all my heart on the occasion of Ramadan Eid, and wish you all good health, happiness, and prosperity for your homes.
May all our good intentions and prayers during the month of Ramadan be fulfilled!
May God Almighty protect our beloved homeland and our people!
Happy Eid-ul-Fitr to all of us!
Shavkat Mirziyoyev,
President of the Republic of Uzbekistan
