President Mirziyoyev to participate in CIS and EOII summits in St. Petersburg
President of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev will participate in the summits of the Commonwealth of Independent States (CIS) and the Eurasian Economic Union (EEU) to be held in St. Petersburg on December 25-26 at the invitation of President of the Russian Federation Vladimir Putin.
The head of Uzbekistan will participate in the informal meeting of the heads of state of the CIS member states and the meeting of the Supreme Eurasian Economic Council as an observer.
The summit agenda includes pressing issues of further expanding mutually beneficial cooperation within multilateral organizations. The main results of the joint work will be summarized and views will be exchanged on priority areas of practical cooperation for the coming year.
