Possible disaster at Iranian nuclear facilities also has implications for Uzbekistan

Climate scientist Erkin Abdulahatov said that the potential disaster at nuclear facilities following the Iran-Israel conflict also has an impact on the Central Asian region.

It is noted that in the event of activation of radioactive radiation, under certain weather conditions, radioactive radiation from those regions can enter Uzbekistan. This occurs in 2-3 of the 15 synoptic processes that enter and develop in Uzbekistan. These processes are the processes of the summer thermal depression and the low-pressure small-gradient atmospheric area. These processes are called synoptic processes of the 11th and 13th types.

"Considering that these two processes are dominant in our region during the summer months, it can be assumed that under current conditions, currents from the Iranian regions will freely enter our region without obstacles," says the climatologist.

Previously, the US had struck three major nuclear facilities in Iran - Fordo, Natanz, and Isfahan.

The climatologist noted that data from various satellite software products currently indicate that the amount of radiation in the atmosphere in these three regions has not increased.
