Neighboring countries plan to launch new TV channel in partnership

At the II Central Asian Media Forum in Astana, Kazakhstan's Minister of Culture and Information Aida Balayeva announced that the countries of the region are planning to launch a single television channel , Zakon.kz reported.

The Minister noted that the countries of Central Asia are taking cooperation in the field of information to a new level in order to jointly popularize their rich historical heritage and cultural values.

"Currently, the Central Asian countries are considering the possibility of creating a common TV channel and a regional media platform. This initiative is aimed at strengthening regional information cooperation," said Aida Balaeva.

The project plans to share content, provide training, combat fake news, and support young journalists. Aida Balaeva called on other Central Asian countries to join the initiative.
