Mufti Sheikh Nuriddin Khaliqnazar attended a meeting of the Council of Muslim Scholars

The next meeting of the Council of Muslim Scholars was held in Manama, the Kingdom of Bahrain. Mufti Sheikh Nuriddin Khaliqnazar attended the meeting, according to the press service of the Muslim Office of Uzbekistan.

The meeting discussed issues related to dialogue and cooperation to ensure the unity of the Muslim Ummah. In particular, it was emphasized that cooperation between the religious, scientific, intellectual and media circles is important to reform hostility and disputes among Muslims.

The members of the Council paid special attention to conveying the essence of the verses of the Holy Quran: “Indeed, this community of yours is one community. And I am your Lord. So fear Me” (Al-Mu'minun, 52) and “Indeed, the believers are brothers…” (Al-Hujurat, 10) to the entire community. Issues such as continuing the path started by authoritative scholars and imams of the sect, strengthening harmony by increasing the role of women in the family and society, strengthening their role in raising children, providing young people with modern knowledge, and supporting the initiatives of the younger generation were also on the agenda.

The Muslim Office, based on hadiths, compared the blessing of unity, the progress of the ummah in all fields when it was united, and the guidance of Islamic scholars to the world, while the ummah was divided, divided, and subjected to unnecessary conflicts, and suffered calamities. This is because the religion of Islam calls upon all humanity to goodness and peace, and to establish true human qualities in life.
