"Mufasa" will pay a fine for insulting journalist Anora Sadiqova

Today, July 21, the Tashkent City Civil Court overturned the decision of the first instance court on the lawsuit of Anora Sodiqova. This was announced by Abdurakhmon Tashanov, chairman of the Ezgulik human rights society.

It is noted that the Court of Appeal issued a new ruling on the lawsuit filed by journalist Anora Sodiqova against blogger Mirsaid Haydarov, a representative of the information service of the Tashkent regional khokimiyat.

It is noted that the court issued a new ruling on the case, ordering blogger Mirsaid Haydarov (Mufasa), who used offensive words against Anora Sodiqova in his posts, to pay 25 million soums in moral damages and 5 million soums in other expenses. Mirsaid Haydarov will also have to apologize to the journalist and delete his posts.

For your information, on May 28 of this year, the Shaykhontohur Inter-District Court of the Federal Investigation Agency rejected Anora Sodiqova's claim.
