In 2024, the volume of Russian oil deliveries to Uzbekistan through the territory of Kazakhstan will be increased from the planned 500,000 tons to 550,000 tons. This was reported by the national operator of the main oil pipeline of Kazakhstan "KazTransOil".
It is noted that in accordance with the oil supply schedule approved by the Ministry of Energy of Kazakhstan, "KazTransOil" will supply 25,000 tons of Russian oil to Uzbekistan in January.
In 2017, Russia started supplying oil to Uzbekistan through the main oil pipeline system "KazTransOil". In 2017, the transit volume was 67.9 thousand tons, in 2018 it was 35.8 thousand tons. There will be no transit of Russian oil through Kazakhstan to Uzbekistan in 2019-2022. In 2023 , KazTransOil transported 154,300 tons of Russian oil to Uzbekistan.
