Kazakhstan remains a pillar of stability in Eurasia - Tokayev
Kazakh President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev said in an interview with Al Jazeera that the country is a guarantor of stability and security in the region.
According to him, Kazakhstan does not intend to radically change its foreign policy, but its main goal is to maintain balance with major countries and neighbors, while also protecting national interests.
Tokayev also stressed the importance of diversifying foreign trade routes through initiatives such as the Middle Corridor and the Trans-Caspian Transport Corridor.
He expressed his support for the "One Belt, One Road" initiative, noting that reforms in this regard are still ongoing.
