Italian Prime Minister arrives in Samarkand

At the invitation of President Shavkat Mirziyoyev, Italian Prime Minister Giorgi Meloni arrived in Uzbekistan on an official visit on May 28.

The Prime Minister was personally welcomed by the Head of State at the Samarkand International Airport.

The flags of the two countries were raised and a guard of honor was formed in honor of the high-ranking guest.

The main events of the visit will take place today, May 29.

High-level talks and a number of other bilateral events are also planned.
