Istanbul: They came to ask for our peace from the homeland
A cultural and educational event was organized in Istanbul for our compatriots living and studying in Turkey. In it, among other things, the imam-khatib of the "White House" mosque in Tashkent, Domla Israiljon Ismailov, advised the compatriots that honesty, honor, purity and faithfulness are beautiful morals prescribed by our religion, without which the faith of a Muslim would not be perfect.
On September 28 of this year, on the initiative of the Consulate General of Uzbekistan in Istanbul, a cultural and educational event was organized for our compatriots living and studying in Turkey. Representatives of the Committee on Religious Affairs under the Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Uzbekistan, representatives of the International Islamic Academy of Uzbekistan and the Office of Muslims of Uzbekistan, as well as officials of the Istanbul City Hall took part in the event, which opened with the sound of the two national anthems.
For example, the imam of the "White House" mosque in Tashkent, Domla Israiljon Ismailov, advised the compatriots who came to the event that honesty, honor, purity and faithfulness are beautiful morals prescribed by our religion, without which the faith of a Muslim would not be perfect. Other guests also explained that it is the duty of every citizen to love the country, to be loyal to it and to be aware of it.
Due to fate and circumstances, this event was a great opportunity for our compatriots living abroad far from the Motherland, even though they are in the sister country. The gathered people were filled with sincere recommendations and advices from the hearts of the guests, not forgetting the distant compatriots of our country.
At the end of the event, which took place in a sincere spirit, the gathered people enjoyed Uzbek national dishes.
