Hajj season begins in Uzbekistan: first pilgrims escorted
The "Hajj 2025" journey has begun!
Today, May 13, the first pilgrims of the "Hajj 2025" season departed for Saudi Arabia.
The pilgrims' viewing ceremony was held at Tashkent International Airport. It was attended by the Chairman of the Muslim Board of Uzbekistan, Mufti Sheikh Nuriddin Kholiknazar, Chairman of the Committee for Religious Affairs Sodiqjon Toshboev, prominent scholars, imams, and media representatives.
His Holiness the Mufti offered his blessings to the pilgrims and wished them a safe and blessed journey.
We would like to remind you that during this year's "Hajj - 2025" season, 15,000 pilgrims from Uzbekistan will travel to the holy cities of Mecca and Medina. Direct flights for pilgrims will be operated from Tashkent, Samarkand, Bukhara, Navoi, Andijan, Fergana, Namangan, Termez and Urgench. The return of our compatriots from Saudi Arabia will begin on July 20 and continue until August 5.
