A request has been received from Germany to increase the volume of oil supply to Kazakhstan by 2.5 million tons, the head of the Ministry of Energy of the Republic Almasadam Satgaliev informed.

"We plan to export 1.2 million tons to Germany by the end of the year, and there is a demand from them to reach a total of 2.5 million tons"
Satkaliev said.

Earlier, the country's president Kasim-Jomart Toqaev announced that the country is ready to increase oil exports to the German market.

In 2024, the Kazakh company "KazTransOil" plans to send up to 1.2 million tons of Kazakh oil to Germany through the main oil pipelines of "Transneft".

At the end of 2023, 993,000 tons of Kazakh oil was transported to Germany through the Druzhba oil pipeline.

As part of the diversification of oil export routes, Kazakhstan has started supplying oil to Germany through the Druzhba oil pipeline.

"KazTransOil" is a subject of natural monopoly in the market of oil pipeline transport services and is part of the national company "KazMunayGaz".

Kazakhstan also exports oil products to genocidal Israel.
