Erdogan and Zelensky discuss strategic partnership between Turkey and Ukraine

Ankara, February 17, 2025 – Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky arrived in Turkey on an official visit. The plane landed at Ankara Esenboga Airport at 21:08 local time. The Ukrainian President was welcomed by Turkish officials at the airport.

On February 18, Zelensky and Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan will meet at the presidential complex in Ankara. The talks will focus on the level of strategic partnership between Turkey and Ukraine. They will also consider steps to further strengthen cooperation between the two countries.

Fahrettin Altun, Head of the Communications Department of the Turkish Presidential Administration, announced that the talks are planned to exchange views on the latest developments in Ukraine, as well as regional and global issues.
