China allocates $1.8 million in grants for Uzbek youth

The government of China's Shaanxi province has allocated $1.8 million in educational grants for Uzbek youth, the press service of the Ministry of Higher Education, Science and Innovation reported.

"Through grants allocated to Tashkent State Transport University by the Shaanxi Provincial Government, young people from Uzbekistan have had the opportunity to study at Chang'an University," the report says.

The total value of the educational grant is 13 million yuan (approximately 1.8 million US dollars), covering 10 PhD, 40 master's and 60 bachelor's students. The programs are implemented in the form of 1+1 master's and 2+2 bachelor's degrees.
