A man in Fergana, Uzbekistan, who was in debt from online gambling, broke into a house in a neighboring neighborhood and stabbed a woman with three children to death. A court has sentenced him to 17 years in prison.

According to the "Bu Kun" news program, a 26-year-old man entered a neighboring apartment with the intention of committing a robbery. At that moment, the owner of the apartment, who had been sleeping for a while, came out and screamed in fear when she saw the man.

When the woman tried to return to her room, the man stabbed her once with a knife and fled the scene. The woman died at the scene.

The court found the debtor guilty of intentional homicide with extreme cruelty and unlawful entry and invasion of a dwelling, warehouse, or other building.

However, the root of the problem is not the legalization of gambling. As long as Muslims are allowed to earn money in a way that is forbidden in our religion, its negative consequences will continue to emerge.
