A Russian woman living in Antalya converted to Islam
Russian citizen Olga Karabash, who lives with her husband in Gazipasa, Antalya region, Turkey, applied to the district mufti with the desire to convert to Islam, TRT reported.
Representatives of the mufti organized a ceremony for him to accept Islam.
It is noted that district mufti Fakhri Bashar told Olga about the basics of Islamic teachings and principles, after which he gave the word Shahadat and believed in the One God - Allah and Muhammad, peace be upon him.
As soon as she accepted Islam, the Russian woman decided to change her name from Olga to Oya (inja means delicate, delicate - Azon Global).
The ceremony of conversion to Islam ended with a prayer recited by Fakhri Bashar. At the end, he gave the newly converted Muslim woman a Koran and asked that it be her guide in life.
