A large "Darul-Hadith" madrasa named after Imam al-Bukhari will be built in Grozny
The construction of the Imam al-Bukhari "Darul-Hadith" madrasah in the capital of Chechnya is underway to further develop knowledge in the field of Islamic studies and hadith studies in Russia. The opening ceremony of the new center was held in a solemn manner.
The event was attended by the Head of the Chechen Republic, Ramzan Kadyrov, State Duma deputy Adam Delimkhanov, Chairman of the Chechen Government, Magomed Daudov, Mayor of Grozny, Khas-Magomed Kadyrov, and Mufti of Chechnya, Salah Mezhiev.
In his speech, Ramzan Kadyrov emphasized that one of the main tasks of Chechnya in developing Islamic science and spiritual values is to spread Islam and preserve traditions.
Mufti Salah Mejiev emphasized the importance of ideological struggle and recalled the successes of the first President of Chechnya, Akhmat-Khadzhi Kadyrov, in this regard.
"Today, there are 416 madrasahs and more than 41,000 students studying in Chechnya. Construction of three new Hafiz schools and madrasahs has now begun," he said.
The new "Dorul-Hadis" madrasah named after Sheikh al-Bukhari is designed for 500 students, of which 250 will have dormitories. This madrasah, with an area of 3,772 square meters, will consist of 3 floors. Construction work is being carried out at the expense of the Akhmat-Khadji Kadyrov Public Foundation.
This project will serve to develop scientific activity in the field of hadith studies in Russia and increase the strategic importance of Islamic education.
