In the first 5 months of 2024, 2.2 million or 35.5 percent (569.2 thousand) more citizens of Uzbekistan went abroad for tourism. The largest number of Uzbeks went to Kyrgyzstan - about 1 million people. Tajikistan (449.8 thousand), Kazakhstan (322.5 thousand) and Saudi Arabia (100.2 thousand) are in the next places.

Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan, Kazakhstan and Saudi Arabia were the leaders in the list of the countries most visited by Uzbeks for tourist purposes.

In January-May 2024, 2.2 million Uzbeks went abroad for tourist purposes. This was reported by the press service of the Statistics Agency.

It is noted that this indicator has increased by 569.2 thousand people or 35.5% compared to the same period last year.
