Today is the evening of February 6, 2024 according to the AD date , and on the night of the 26th to the 27th of Rajab 1445 according to the Hijri-lunar calendar. This night is a night of special importance in Islamic countries, in the history of Islam, in Muslim lands. This night, as you all know, is the night of Isra and Miraj, although in Uzbek it is called the night of Miraj. Two separate events took place on this night and they happened consecutively, and we will consider them in order. Isra means "night walk" in Arabic. In Istilah, it is said that the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, was taken from Masjid al-Haram in Makkah to Masjid al-Aqsa in Jerusalem. This is mentioned in the first verse of Surah Isra of the Holy Qur'an:

subۡḥana ٱlۡẖī̂ ảsۡrayٰ̱ biʿabۡdihi layۡlٗạ mĩna ٱlۡmasۡjidi ٱlۡḥarāmi ای̹lay̱ ٱalۡmasۡjidi ٱlۡaảqۡṣā ٱlۡaـbarakۡnā ḥawۡlahuۥ linurīahuۥ minۡ ʾāyaٰtinā̂ۚ ại̹nãhuۥ hūa ٱlsãm īʿu ٱlۡbaṣīru

That is, "(Allah) is the pure One who took His servant (Muhammad) one night from Masjid al-Haram (in Makkah) to Masjid al-Aqsa, the surroundings of which We have made blessed, in order to show him from Our signs and wonders. Verily, He is the All- Hearing and All-Seeing."

So, since it is emphasized in this verse, the event of Isra is confirmed in the Qur'an with this verse, and the denial of this is blasphemy, it is obligatory for everyone who considers himself to be a Muslim to believe in the event of Isra.

The second phenomenon is the miraj phenomenon that started from Masjidul Aqsa in Jerusalem. Mi'raj is derived from the Arabic word uruj, which means "ascension", and it means zina, a ladder that goes up. In Istilah, it is said that our Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, ascended to heaven from Masjidul Aqsa. As you all know, on this night the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, was blessed with a great blessing that was not given to anyone else. He met with many prophets in all the heavens and finally reached Sidratul Muntaha alone , talked and communicated with God without knowing his mood. The special importance of this night for us is that it is obligatory for us to pray five times a day.

When did the incident of Isra and Miraj take place? In this regard, historians and Islamic scholars in general have expressed different opinions, there are various disagreements, among them there is a saying that we are celebrating with you today, on the night of the 26th to the 27th of the month of Rajab. we are celebrating this event. But according to the popular and accepted, most authentic saying, the incident of Isra and Miraj happened one year before the Hijra, in the 13th year of Prophethood, when the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, was 52 years old, on Monday, in the first month of Rabiul. This is the opinion accepted by most scholars. This year is also known as a factor of sadness for us again. The reason is that in this year, two of the main patrons of Islam, relatives of the Prophet, his uncle Abu Talib and his wife Hazrat Khadija, died. That's why our Prophet suffered greatly from these two differences, from these two differences, they fell into depression. Allah, the Exalted, granted this event of Isra and Miraj to give comfort to a person and to encourage him in his mission. You have a lot of information about the events of Isra and Miraj, and there are enough sources about it, so we will not dwell on it, but we will briefly touch on Isra and Miraj, especially Masjidul Aqsa, where the event of Miraj took place, and its virtues and importance. So, Masjid al-Aqsa means the distant mosque, because Makkah is located far from Mukarrama, so it got that name. It is one of the oldest temples in history, and it is approximately the same age as Masjidul Haram, that is, 5000 years old, historians say. In addition, Masjidul Aqsa is the first Qibla for us Muslims. Since the arrival of the message, until 13 months after the emigration of the Prophet, may God bless him and grant him peace, to Madinah, Muslims prayed towards Masjid al - Aqsa. In addition, Masjid al-Aqsa tells us that when the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, went to the Miraj, this is where, according to the narrations, all the prophets gathered. The Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings of God be upon him, led them as imams, in other words, the rank of prophet, mission, and the turn to lead the world and lead the world passed to Muslims in the person of the Prophet, peace be upon him, that is why Masjid al-Aqsa is precious to us. There are also hadiths about the virtues of Masjidul Aqsa. This hadith is mentioned in the Sharifs as one of the three mosques to be visited in order to visit Masjid al-Aqsa, and it is stated that the prayer performed in Masjid al-Aqsa is 500 times more virtuous than the prayer performed in other places.

Now that we are celebrating such a blessed night, what should we do on this night? Although there is no specific type of prayer for the night of Isra and Miraj, it is permissible for us to sit with our loved ones in remembrance of Allah and engage in nafl prayers. But our brothers who are in charge of the qaza prayers must perform the qaza prayers first, because a person who owes money to someone has to pay the debt before giving charity. In the same way, the qaza prayers are a debt owed to us , and it will be discharged from us whenever we perform them. Therefore, using these nights, we will have to try to avoid these punishments more. In addition, tonight, while observing this incident of Isra and Miraj, we should also think about the current state of Masjidul Aqsa, the area where this incident took place, and we should also teach this consciousness to our children. Because, unfortunately, today in these holy lands, in Gaza, the blood of Muslims is flowing, Muslims are being slaughtered, and the world community cannot go beyond condemnation. Unfortunately, today we Muslims are in such a bad state, today we Muslims are condemned to such humiliation, today we Muslims have become a third-class nation behind science, technology, and development. As a Muslim nation, as a Muslim ummah, tonight is an opportunity for us to understand the reasons why we have fallen into such humiliation, to search for it, to discover ways out of it, and to think about it! That is why we should celebrate this night in this way .   let's ask ourselves: why are we in this situation today? Why is it that all Muslims are one whole like a corpse, according to the words of the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, when any part of the body hurts, the other parts are with him willingly, why are we Muslims today in the face of the massacre in Gaza or the injustice and oppression of Muslims in all parts of the world? ? Why is Muslim blood the cheapest blood? What will help us get out of this situation? This is the time to think about them, dear ones. We need to raise our children with this awareness, to make them understand that Islam is not such a religion, that being a Muslim is not humiliating. In fact, to be a Muslim, to be a saint, is to understand that Allah created this world and all the blessings in it for Muslims first, and what we must do to achieve these blessings, to restore our former glory in the world, and to become a leading ummah again. , we should pay attention to these aspects and guide and educate our children accordingly.

Unfortunately, we Muslims are in a situation where we have lost our first Qibla today, dear ones. The land is occupied by the Israeli invaders, they do not allow Emin to pray freely there, and they do not allow the congregation to perform those Friday prayers. This is the situation we are in. We have to think about what we can do in front of them. First of all, of course, supplication, taking into account that this night is a blessed night, it is hoped that more supplications will be accepted. it would be necessary to pray for it to come out. It is necessary to pray in Tahajjud. Prayer is the main way to help our oppressed brothers and sisters in other parts of the world, in East Turkestan , in African countries, in Miami, and we have another way. This is a boycott! We should increase attention to the boycott, not weaken it. We need to tell our children about the importance of boycott. A boycott is made on products that have a direct or indirect connection with Israel and that have some material benefit. Their lists are now created on social networks, on the Internet, let's use those sources . In other words, if we buy something in the store, let's check whether it is on the boycott list or not, and let's teach our children the same. Because every Israeli property that we buy or property that belongs to it has a financial opportunity for the suffering of our Muslim brothers and sisters there. So let's try to prevent it. Because this is all we can do for now, so we will be asked about it in the Day of Judgment. We are asked about what we have done or what we have done, so we should be careful about it. So, to summarize, the first thing we will do today is prayer, secondly, nafl prayers, qaza prayers, if we have it, talk about the importance of this night, inform those who don't know, share information with our loved ones, children, and family members, and also continue boycotting. .
