We are in the midst of exciting opportunities
About the first ten days of Dhul-Hijjah...
Dhul-Hijjah is one of the sacred months, and its previous ten days have great merit. It contains the most important acts of Hajj and the greatest pillar of standing in Arafat. In the Holy Qur'an, Allah, the Exalted, swears to describe his virtues: "By the dawn and by the ten nights."
The Prophet, may God's prayers and peace be upon him, emphasized its merits and said: "The deeds that are most beloved to Allah, the Exalted, are these days." (Narrated by Imam Bukhari Ibn Abbas, may Allah be pleased with him. Hadith 969)
The actions to be taken this month are as follows:
1. Abandoning the cutting of the hair and the cutting of the nails for the one who is willing to sacrifice for the forgiveness of all the parts of the body.
The Prophet, may God bless him and grant him peace, says: "If it is ten (daily), the one who wants to make a sacrifice will make a sacrifice without cutting his hair and without cutting his nails." (Narrated by Imam Muslim Salama, may Allah be pleased with him. 1977 hadith)
2. To engage in recitation of the Qur'an and a lot of dhikr.
The Prophet, may God bless him and grant him peace, says: "In it (in the first ten days of Zul Hijjah) increase tahlîl, takbir and praise."
3. Fasting on the previous nine days.
The Prophet, may God bless him and grant him peace, says: "Each day of fasting in it is equivalent to the fasting of a year, and each night in it is equal to a night of value."
4. The virtue of fasting on the ninth day of this month is emphasized.
Because it is the day of Arafa. They asked the Prophet, may God bless him and grant him peace, about the fast of this day. Then he, may God bless him and grant him peace, said: "There will be expiation for the previous and future years." (Narrated by Imam Muslim Abu Qatada from Ansari, may Allah be pleased with him. Hadith 1162)
5. There is no fasting on the tenth day.
Because it is Eid al-Adha. The best actions in it are saying takbir, making sacrifices, giving charity, showing mercy to loved ones...
Whoever loves Baitullah, has a passion for it, and is not among the pilgrims, it is necessary for him to engage in the obedience and prayers that we have mentioned.
O Allah, reward us like the rewards of the pilgrims of Your Bayt and make us sharers in the prayers of the righteous. Amen!
