The virtues and times of supplication and remembrance during Ramadan
The virtue and importance of supplication and remembrance during the month of Ramadan
The month of Ramadan is not only the most appropriate time for fasting and prayer, but also for increasing supplications and remembrances, remembering Allah, and seeking forgiveness. The reward of every supplication and remembrance made during this month is multiplied many times over.
The virtue of supplication and remembrance
Dua is one of the most important means between a servant and his Lord. Our Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said:
"Supplication is the essence of worship" (Tirmidhi, 3371), - they said.
Duas made during the month of Ramadan, especially during the time of breaking the fast, are not rejected. Our Prophet (peace be upon him) said:
"The supplication of the fasting person is not rejected" (Ibn Majah, 1752).
It is also recommended to increase the number of seeking forgiveness, rosary, and analysis during the month of Ramadan.
Recommended times for supplication and remembrance
- The time of dawn – The Quran praises the servant's supplication and seeking forgiveness during the dawn (Adh-Dhariyat, 18).
- Iftar time is one of the most virtuous times when prayers are accepted.
- The time of Tarawih and Tahajjud prayers is the time when prayers are most likely to be answered.
- Friday night and day – There is an hour on Friday when a supplication made during that time is not rejected (Muslim, 852).

Recitations on Laylatul Qadr
Laylatul Qadr is a night that is better than a thousand months. Our Prophet (peace be upon him) recommended increasing the following remembrances and supplications on this night:
