The month of Ramadan is a blessed month in which the reward for worship increases several times. In this month, it is recommended to perform more voluntary prayers along with obligatory prayers. Because voluntary prayers are an opportunity to get closer to Allah, cleanse oneself of sins, and accumulate rewards. Below, we will provide information about the voluntary prayers that can be performed during Ramadan, their times and virtues in Tashkent time.

1. Taraweeh prayer
Time: After Isha (approximately 21:30–23:00 in Tashkent) Rakaats: 20 Rakaats Sunnah-Muakkadah Virtue: Our Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: "Whoever prays Taraweeh prayer out of faith and in the hope of reward, his previous sins will be forgiven." (Bukhari, Muslim) This prayer is also very important for completing the recitation of the Quran.

2. Zuha (Mosque) prayer
Time: From 15-20 minutes after sunrise to one hour before noon (approximately 07:45–11:30 in Tashkent) Rakaats: 2, 4, 8, or 12 Rakaats Virtue: It is narrated in the hadith that whoever prays the noon prayer regularly, his sins will be forgiven and his sustenance will be increased (Narrated by Imam Muslim).

3. Awwabin prayer
Time: After Maghrib (approximately 19:00–19:30 in Tashkent) Rakaats: 6 Rakaats Virtue: The Awwabin prayer is a reward for those who love voluntary prayers. The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) encouraged this prayer and said that its reward is great (Narrated by Imam Tirmidhi).

4. Tahajjud prayer
Time: After going to bed after Isha and before dawn (approximately 02:30–04:30 in Tashkent) Rakaats: From 2 to 12 Rakaats Virtue: Allah Almighty says in the Holy Quran, "Perform Tahajjud prayer, perhaps your Lord will raise you to a degree worthy of praise" (Surah Al-Isra, verse 79). This is the time of supplications when the probability of acceptance is high.

5. Prayer of Need
Time: Can be prayed at any time, but Tahajjud time is preferable (02:30–04:30 in Tashkent) Rakaats: 2, 4 or 12 Rakaats Virtue: If anyone has a difficult matter, prays the obligatory prayer and asks Allah, his prayer will be answered (Narrated by Imam Tirmidhi).

6. Ikhlas prayer
Time: Any time (except when it is makruh to perform nafl prayers) Rakaats: 2 rakaats, in each rakaat, Surah Ikhlas is recited 10 times Virtue: It is said in the hadith that whoever performs this prayer, a palace will be built for him in Paradise (narrated by Tabarani).

1. Prayer for the sake of the mosque
Time: As soon as you enter the mosque (except when it is makruh to perform the nafl prayer) Rak'ahs: 2 Rak'ahs Virtue: Our Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: "Whoever enters the mosque, let him pray two Rak'ahs before sitting." (Narrated by Imam Bukhari). This prayer is a sign of respect for the mosque and a preparation for worship.

2. Tahiyyatul Wudu prayer
Time: Every time after performing ablution (except when it is makruh to perform a nafl prayer) Rakaats: 2 Rakaats Virtue: Our Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) used to pray two Rakaats after performing ablution and said that this prayer is a means of washing away sins (Narrated by Imam Muslim).

3. Istikhara prayer
Time: Before making any important decision, before going to sleep (except when it is makruh to perform nafl prayers) Rakaats: 2 Rakaats Virtue: The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) recommended performing Istikharah before every important decision in life. This prayer is important for seeking guidance from Allah and for the answer to supplications (Narrated by Imam Bukhari).
