Yemen opens embassy in Syria

Yemeni Foreign Minister Shaia al-Zindani announced that preparations for the opening of the country's embassy in Damascus have been completed, Sana'a reported.

In an interview with the Okaz newspaper, he noted that he had held direct talks with Syrian Foreign Minister Asad al-Shaybani.

According to the agreements reached, the Yemeni delegation will be in Damascus from April 21-23.

The delegation will take control of the embassy building and begin resuming official activities, the message says.
