Will the fate of the world change: What did Trump say at his inauguration?

Donald Trump, who took office as US president, criticized the previous administration during his inauguration and emphasized the beginning of a new golden age for America. He promised to restore the death penalty at the federal level and strengthen only two genders: male and female.

On January 20, Donald Trump officially took office as the 47th President of the United States. He gave an inaugural address, briefly outlining what he plans to do during his presidency.

Quotes from Trump's speech

I will not rest until we build the strong, secure, and prosperous America that our children and you deserve. This will truly be America's golden age.

The Department of Justice and our government will cease to be used as weapons of corruption, cruelty, and injustice.

Our government is facing a crisis of confidence. For years, a radical and corrupt regime has taken power and wealth from our citizens, while the pillars of our society have crumbled and seem to be in complete disarray.

Now, our government is faced with a series of disasters abroad while failing to address a simple crisis at home. Our government has failed to protect our honorable, law-abiding American citizens, while providing sanctuary and protection to dangerous criminals who have illegally entered our country from all over the world, and who are destined for prisons and mental institutions.

Or take Los Angeles, where we've been watching the fires burn so tragically for weeks, with no sign of any protection. No one seems to be doing anything about it. And that's going to change.

Our healthcare system is failing to cope with natural disasters, yet it spends more money on it than any other country in the world. And our education system is teaching our children to be ashamed of themselves, and in many cases to hate their own country, despite the love we try so hard to give them. All of this will change starting today, and very quickly.

We will not forget our homeland. We will not forget our Constitution or God. This is impossible.

I am declaring a state of emergency at our southern border. All illegal entry will be immediately stopped, and we will begin the process of returning millions of criminal aliens to where they came from.

We will restore my "stay in Mexico" policy. I will end "catch and release." I will send troops to the southern border to stop the deadly infiltration of our country.

We recognize cartels as foreign terrorist organizations.

I am ordering the elimination of all foreign gangs and criminal networks that are causing deadly crime on U.S. soil, including in our cities and inner cities.

We have the most oil and gas reserves on earth, and we will take advantage of it. We will drive down prices, replenish our strategic reserves to their highest levels, and export American energy to the world.

Instead of taxing our citizens to enrich other countries, we will tax and levy taxes and duties on foreign countries to enrich our citizens. There will be huge amounts of money flowing into our treasury from foreign sources.

As of today, the official policy of the United States government is based on the existence of only two genders: male and female.

As in 2017, we will once again build the most powerful military the world has ever seen. We will measure our success not only by the battles we win, but also by the wars we end and, perhaps most importantly, the wars we never fight.

Soon we will change the name of the Gulf of Mexico to the Gulf of America and return the name of the great President William McKinley to Mount McKinley.

China controls the Panama Canal, and we didn't give it to China, we gave it to Panama, and now we're taking it back.

Together, we will end the epidemic of chronic diseases and keep our children safe, healthy, and disease-free.

The United States once again sees itself as a country that increases our wealth, expands our territories, builds cities, raises our hopes, and raises our flag to new and beautiful horizons.

We will continue our journey to the stars by sending American astronauts to Mars to plant the Stars and Stripes.
