US to provide $22 billion in military aid to Israel in 2024

The US administration has allocated more than $22 billion in direct military aid to support Israeli attacks that began in the Gaza Strip on October 7, 2023 and spread to Lebanon and Syria.

Between 1946 and 2023, the United States provided Israel with a total of $158 billion in economic and military aid.

When adjusted for inflation, this figure exceeds $310 billion.

The United States ranks first among all other countries in the world in providing military assistance to Israel.

In 2019-2023, Israel imported 69 percent of its weapons from the United States. By the 2000s, this share had reached 78 percent.

According to the Stockholm International Peace Research Institute (SIPRI), the United States is Israel's main arms supplier.

Israel's attacks on the Gaza Strip are having a serious impact on the global and regional situation. US military assistance has been an important factor not only in strengthening Israel's defense capabilities, but also in supporting its foreign policy interests.

US aid to Israel, which extends beyond financial support to arms supplies and strategic partnerships, is a growing challenge to efforts to resolve regional conflicts.
