Ukraine attacked Russian military airfields with drones - what is known

The SBU noted that it is using "all its might" to push back Russian troops from Ukrainian territory.

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky called the attacks on Russian military airfields "our most far-reaching operation."
In a statement on Telegram, he said he had received SBU head Vasyl Malyuk and received information about the operation.
Assessing the SBU attacks, Zelensky said: "It's definitely a great result. An independent achievement for Ukraine."
According to Zelensky, the preparation and implementation of the attack lasted 1 year, 6 months and 9 days, making it the longest-range operation in the history of Ukraine.
Zelensky said he had ordered the SBU to inform the public about the operation, adding, "Our people who prepared the operation left Russian territory on time."
"Of course, we can't say everything yet, but these will undoubtedly be included in Ukrainian history textbooks," he said.
