Trump: Zelensky is ready to negotiate to end the war

US President Donald Trump said the conflict between Russia and Ukraine must end and announced his intention to meet with Russian President Vladimir Putin in the coming days.

Answering questions from reporters at the White House, Trump said he was willing to negotiate with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky on a deal to end the war.

"Zelensky is willing to negotiate an end to this war. Both Ukraine and Russia have suffered very heavy losses. We need to end the war as quickly as possible," Trump said.

Trump also said that Chinese President Xi Jinping should use his influence to end the conflict, saying international cooperation is key to resolving the issues.

Speaking about the ceasefire in the Gaza Strip, Trump noted that everything is going well so far, adding that the situation in the region should be monitored carefully.

At the same time, he also expressed his opinion on the issue of including the Houthis on the list of foreign terrorist organizations. Trump stated that the Houthis pose a threat to international security and the United States intends to confront these actions.
