According to the results of the primaries held in the form of a meeting of Republican voters (caucus), Trump received 51 percent of the vote and achieved a convincing victory. DeSantis was second with just over 21 percent of the vote, and Haley was third with 19 percent.
Meanwhile, another Republican candidate, Vivek Ramaswamy, has dropped out of the race in favor of Trump.
Among Republican voters in the state , Ramaswamy has 7.7 percent support .
The next US primaries, which are held in the form of primaries or caucuses in each state, will be held in New Hampshire on January 23. The preliminary election process will continue until June 8.
Both the Democratic Party and the Republican Party will select their official presidential nominees at their party conventions in July and August.
The candidate who won the presidential election held on November 5 will take office on January 20, 2025.
