Trump wants to take action on those punished in the invasion of Congress
US President-elect Donald Trump announced on January 6, 2021 that he would take very quick action on "day one" of those convicted of the invasion of Congress. Exceptions may be made if those accused of invasion are radical or insane.
On January 6, 2021, far-right groups in the United States and supporters of former US President Trump stormed the Congress building, where a session was held to confirm the results of the November 3, 2020 election. The raid caused a huge reaction.
Focusing on those convicted in the Jan. 6 congressional invasion, Trump said some of them had been in prison for years. This was reported by NBC News.
It is noted that there may be exceptions if those accused of the Invasion are radical or insane.
Referring to the situation with illegal immigrants in the United States, Trump said that it must be stopped.
He noted that birthright citizenship will also be revoked. He stated that this right applies only to children.
"I don't want to separate families when the children have legal status and the parents have illegal status. Therefore, the whole family should be sent back to reunite the families," he said.
"We need to get the criminals out of the country," Trump said, noting the deportation of illegal immigrants.
